Synopsis[]
Fumi's pointed comments and Naomi's meddling put Amy and George on edge. As Isaac hustles to get out of trouble, Danny receives an unexpected offer.
Plot Summary[]
Fumi is in the hospital, due to a fall from the stairs, while Michael and Bobby both attempted to rob George and Amy's house. George promises his mother that she can stay with him and Amy until her health condition improves. Amy appears suspicious of Fumi's presence, and she is not pleased.
Later, Fumi makes a comment about George and Amy's relationship, which causes George to break things off with Mia. Naomi suspects Amy of having an affair with Danny since the road rage incident, and she forms a neighborhood watch committee.
She visits Fumi to discuss the attempted robbery, but Amy gives Fumi a painkiller to keep her quiet. Naomi accuses Amy of having an affair with Danny, and she threatens to tell Jordan. To avoid this predicament, Amy calls Danny, and she pays him $25,000 to take the blame for the road rage incident. Fumi overhears everything, and she contacts Naomi to take the blame instead. Naomi apologizes to Amy, but she still suspects that one of the Chosen Brothers was involved in the robbery.
George sells the Tamago chair to Jordan.
Amy informs Danny that the deal that they made is unnecessary, due to George's and Fumi's actions. Although Danny needs the $25k, he is disappointed that Amy is backing out. However, Danny devises a new plan, and he decides to contact the tipline regardless.
Meanwhile, Isaac takes advantage of his religious exemption from house arrest to spend more time at the church, where he becomes involved in Edwin's charity basketball league. Danny becomes annoyed by Isaac's overbearing presence at the church.
Back at home, Danny and his brother. Paul plays a nonsensical and spontaneous game of basketball using household items, leading to a reconciliation between them. Danny arranges a meeting between Paul and Isaac to smooth things over and persuade Paul back to work. Isaac reveals to Danny that he has been stashing his illegal gains in rice cookers at the church. However, showing Danny the money leads to Isaac's downfall.
With the deal with Amy off the table, Danny uses the tipline to pin the road rage incident on Isaac, resulting in Isaac's arrest. When Danny visits him in jail, Isaac denies any involvement, and instead, he blames Amy for his predicament.
