June Nakai is a recurring character in the Netflix series, Beef.
Biography[]
June is the daughter of Amy Lau and George Nakai. She has a close relationship with her father. June loves to paint, do yoga, and eat candy. She struggles with anxiety, so her parents coddle her quite a bit.
One day, June is at home with her dad when "Zane" (Danny Cho) shows up. George tells June to get inside of the car, and wait for him, so she does. However, she accidentally gets into Danny's red truck with her dog. Danny rushes from the house, and he drives away, unknowingly taking June with him. He takes her to his house. Isaac Cho shows up, and forces June and the others into the car to travel to Jordan's house. Paul and Danny both play with June in the car, while the robbery scene takes place. Eventually, they both take June, and put her into Amy's car.
George comes to pick up June and bring her to safety.

June is very young, ranging around between the ages of 4 and 6. She is Asian-American.
Personality[]
June has an adorably shy and a fun-loving personality. In spite of having moments of frustration that end up in outbursts, she is sweet by being kind and helpful to others, and she enjoys her hobbies to impress her father.

- June is possibly one of the only characters, along with Naomi, to be sane and functional in the show, since being anxious is beneficial to protect one's self cautiously from impending dangers of harm.
