Synopsis[]
Danny experiences a catharsis in the presence of an old flame. Amy's relationship with George suffers another setback. A catfishing scheme goes too far.
Plot Summary[]
Amy and George both attend marriage counseling, where Amy brushes off George's concerns about her abnormal behavior. Danny almost sets Amy's and George's car on fire, but when he sees a little girl, June, in the backseat, he flees when he realizes she is there. Danny confides in Paul about his crush on "Kayla," who is actually Amy.
He also goes to church with Veronica and Edwin, and he has an emotional experience. Amy and George both try to improve their relationship with intimacy practices, but tension grows between them when George mentions that he sometimes wonders what life would be like if they never met. Jordan comes over to Amy's house to discuss the sale, and the board demands her to stay on as the face of the brand.
Danny tricks Veronica and Edwin's church to acquire money for his property's down payment. Amy confesses to Paul that she was catfishing him as Kayla, but they kiss anyway. The episode ends with Danny playing guitar at the church.
