Synopsis[]
Amy and Danny both experience positive changes in their lives, but lingering secrets and emotional challenges force them to confront hard truths.
Plot Summary[]
8 months have passed since the previous episode. During this time, Danny has taken over Edwin's position at the church, and he is now dating Esther. He has also built a new house on his parent's land, and plans to bring them back from South Korea. Meanwhile, Amy appears to be living a happy life in a beautiful vacation home, but she still seems unhappy. Paul also has a new apartment, but Edwin has hit a rough patch and he is desperate for a job.
George has revealed to Amy that he had an emotional affair with Mia, causing tension at home. At a party, Danny notices a tattoo on Amy's lower back, and he realizes she was the mysterious "Kayla" on Paul's phone. Amy confronts Danny about turning in Isaac, and she accuses him of being responsible for Isaac's imprisonment and stunting Paul's growth. Danny storms out, and Amy tells George that she wants to move and to start fresh.
At home, Paul discovers discrepancies in the company's finances, leading Danny to distract him by telling him the truth about Amy. Enraged, Paul heads over to George's house, and he reveals that he had an affair with George's wife. Feeling sad and betrayed by his wife, George takes June and he leaves their house.
Danny picks up his parents from the airport, only to find that their new home has been set on fire.
