David Choe is a contemporary artist, muralist, and actor who was born on April 21, 1976, in Los Angeles, California. Choe began his career as a graffiti artist in the 1990s, gaining recognition for his distinctive style and bold use of color.
In 2005, Choe was commissioned by Facebook to paint murals for their offices. Instead of accepting payment, Choe opted to be paid in company stock, a decision that ultimately made him a multimillionaire after Facebook's IPO in 2012.
